Our typical meeting format is a friendly, informal, encouraging gathering of people who share a love for classical guitar. At the start of the meeting we see who wants to play (we encourage everyone to have a go, whatever their standard, but its entirely up to the performer). Most have worked on a piece, and its a chance to see how it goes in front of others. We also choose what order we are going to play in (this tends to reduce performance anxiety). We then listen to each player, and applaud and sometimes offer some specific positive feedback. Once we are all done we have a chat over a cup of tea, and sometimes go wild and also have a chocolate biscuit too!
